Kegel balls, or Ben Wa balls, have been used for centuries to strengthen vaginal and pelvic floor muscles. The small, weighted balls come in a variety of different weights and sizes to help you contract and release different muscles with ease.
But Kegel balls do more than just whip your pelvic floor/fanny muscles into shape. They’re better known for enhancing sexual pleasure. So much so that they’re known by many names – Benwa balls, orgasm balls, Venus balls, jiggle balls, geisha balls, love balls, and pleasure balls.
What are they you may ask? Weights, Kegel Balls are weights for your vagina. Sounds crazy and not very 50 Shades at all, but that’s the truth, they are made to help tone and strengthen your fanny muscles.
KEGEL / PELVIC FLOOR MUSCLES
Kegel muscles, or PELVIC floor muscles are responsible for keeping all your internal organs in place and help with continence, that in it self is reason enough to want to keep them toned and tight. But working out your Kegel muscles have the added benefit of helping your vagina feel tighter and will also intensify your orgasms, who doesn’t want better orgasms?

DIFFERENT TYPES OF KEGEL BALLS
JIGGLE BALLS
Kegel Balls come in many different weights, materials and sizes. Usually cheapest and most available are plastic Jiggle Balls, they are fairly light weight, made of plastic and consist of two balls attached by a string. Most often they feature an outer ball with a smaller weighted inner ball that moves around giving a jiggling or vibrating sensation when ever you move around. These are great for foreplay or if you want to test out how Kegel balls feel without investing too much money in something you are afraid you don’t like.

SILICONE BALLS
Next up are silicone Kegel balls, these are where we would recommend you start your journey, if tighter more toned pelvic floor muscles are what you are after. There is a wide range on the market, but they all share similar characteristics, they are made up of one or two balls in a silicone casing or harness, with a silicone string or tab at one end, for easy removal. These are perfect, we recommend you start with a double ball that is not too heavy and work your way up to heavier sets and eventually up to a single heavier ball.

STEEL BALLS
Then for more advanced lifters, there are steel balls, these are usually quite a bit heavier and thus more suited to ladies that have worked their way up to the heavier weight, just like in the gym.
