We celebrate International Women’s Day on the 8th of March 2021. International Women’s Day is an annual celebration of women around the world.
Supporting and celebrating women’s rights should be an all year responsibility. International Women’s Day serves an important purpose.
We are forced to look into the achievements of women and address the global inequality, it forces us to use our voices against gender inequality, and challenges and pushes the boundaries of the norm into realising that we are equal.
We believe that Women should be celebrated every single day and not just on one day during a 365 day year.
Look Out For One Another
It’s a bit of a misconception that women are not too fond of other women. Women friends are the ultimate assassins to have. It is a woman who will have your back. They are selfless, and have felt the pang of pain or isolation.
It is a woman who will be your most intimate interpreter.
Women are dependable, regardless of the task. It is these women in our lives that should be celebrated, it is women who shape our future generations
Secret Corner’s Pledge
Secret Corner celebrates the rights of women in every way. It is our responsibility to be socially aware as to what is happening out there. We need to keep up to speed with sexual trends, gender equality and sexual equality.
Smashing the Stereotypes
We are constantly smashing gender stereotypes, and shine a light on the gender gap. It is our responsibility within our immediate community and those who visit us, to ensure that they are well informed and leave a sexually empowered as a woman.
Strength in Numbers
Women are essentially strong. Under that gentle persona lies a strong woman who has been through tough situations and made even tougher life choices and come out… well, they have come out with a story to tell and a lesson to teach; and a voice to he heard.
